Show and Talk (My Favourite Pet Animal)

The final round of the English CCA Competition was held on Thursday, 13 November 2025. As an individual event, it provided each student with the opportunity to demonstrate their composure, confidence and spontaneity. The primary objective of this competition was to develop public-speaking abilities, enrich vocabulary and sentence-framing skills and provide a constructive platform for students to express their ideas with clarity and enthusiasm.
The theme for the round focussed on favourite pet animals and students showcased a strong sense of awareness and interest in the topic. Each participant brought a toy or a picture of their chosen pet and presented well-structured descriptive sentences along with interesting facts. Their ability to recollect and articulate relevant information within a short span of time was truly commendable. The event was marked by poise, spirited performances and vibrant house spirit.
In conclusion, the English CCA Final Round proved to be a highly enriching experience for all participants. The students exhibited impressive confidence, stage presence and communication skills, making the event both engaging and memorable. The competition successfully fulfilled its aim of nurturing self-expression and promoting effective speaking skills among young learners.
