The Real Decision Makers in Agriculture
Class: 10A Date: 9 & 10 July 2025
The students of Class 10A presented their class assembly on the topic “The Real Decision Makers in Agriculture.” The skit highlighted the daily struggles of farmers and questioned whether the Government is truly involved in shaping agricultural policies. Characters like Ramu and Sita portrayed real-world hardships, while the journalist, politician and other expert brought out the larger nation’s perspective. The skit also showcased how young, educated farmers are using technology and practice direct selling to build self-reliance.
A farmer’s journey was well expressed by a dance performance-their hopes, hardships and resilience. The skit ended with the powerful message that true reform begins not in boardrooms, but in the barnyards. The assembly was an insightful experience that reminded everyone of the need to listen to and include farmers in decision-making processes.
