Agriculture: Then and Now
Class: 1OC Date: 1 & 2 July 2025
The students of class 10C presented their class assembly on the topic “Agriculture: Then and Now”. The skit and dance presented by the students placed emphasis on the issues regarding agriculture and the importance of helping the farmers - the ones who feed the world. The students took various examples across the globe - lack of government support in Zimbabwe, high revenue collection in France and under developed mechanisation in India. Through these, students depicted the strife of farmers with others and described the solutions to their troubles.
A dance performance would serve as an expressive outburst of emotions; with anxiety, grief and relief all left to be perceived. The dance conveyed both problems and solutions. The assembly served as a great learning experience for the students, teaching them values of protecting the farmers and promoting the art of agriculture.
