Peace, Compassion and Unity

The October Sparks – Small Steps, Big Change assembly, held over three vibrant days, was a celebration of important values like peace, compassion and unity. The series began on Day 1 with an introduction to the spark of peace, emphasising how small acts of kindness and self-control can foster harmony. Students highlighted the significance of peace through a thoughtful presentation, setting the tone for the days ahead. On Day 2, the focus shifted to compassion, with a moving skit titled If Animals Could Speak. The skit raised awareness about the feelings and needs of animals, reminding everyone of the importance of kindness towards all living beings, big and small. The creative performance captivated the audience and encouraged empathy.
The assembly concluded on Day 3 with a celebration of unity in diversity, featuring the World Hello Parade. Students greeted each other in different languages, showcasing the beauty of cultural differences and shared values.
The Principal praised the students for their enthusiasm, teamwork and creativity, highlighting how the assembly successfully promoted values that inspire positive change both within the school and beyond.
