Big Barn Farm

The students of Class 3 went on a field trip to The Big Barn Farm located near Bannerghatta, Bengaluru on Friday 17 October 2025. The visit aimed to provide a hands-on learning experience about farm life, animals and nature. Upon arrival, the children were warmly welcomed by the farm staff and taken on a guided tour of the farm. They learned about different farm animals such as cows, goats, rabbits, hens and ducks. Students enjoyed feeding the animals and observing their habits. The farm team also demonstrated simple organic farming techniques and explained how fruits and vegetables are grown naturally.
The highlight of the trip was the tractor ride around the farm, which the students found exciting and memorable, followed by a short nature walk, where they learned about plants, insects and the importance of protecting the environment. The experience was both educational and fun, allowing the children to connect classroom lessons on plants and animals with real-life observations. The students returned to school cheerful and enriched with practical knowledge about sustainable living and respect for nature.
