Visit to Bhagyalakshmi Farm
Class: 5 Date: 31 October 2025
National Public School, Yeshwanthpur organised an educational field trip for the students of Class 5 to Sri Bhagyalakshmi Farm on Friday, 31st October 2025. The visit was part of the school’s experiential learning programme designed to provide students with hands-on exposure to agriculture, livestock management and eco-friendly farming practices.
The day began with an exciting tractor ride, giving students a glimpse into rural life. Their first stop was the nursery, which housed a wide variety of ornamental plants, flowers, and medicinal herbs. This was followed by a visit to the rose garden, home to over 35 varieties of roses that added colour and fragrance to the morning.
Students then explored the biogas plant, where they learnt how to convert organic waste into usable energy. At the dairy section, they observed the milking process and gained valuable insights into dairy management. The visit to the aquarium, featuring diverse species of fish and other aquatic life, sparked their curiosity and wonder.
A highlight of the trip was the pottery workshop, where students enthusiastically tried their hand at making clay pots and took them home as memorable souvenirs. Fun activities such as a bouncy castle and a magic show further enriched the experience, blending learning with entertainment.
