EDUCATIONAL VISIT: NATIONAL CENTRE FOR BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES

Class: 12 Date: 11th March 2026.

The educational tour to National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS) for the students of Class 12, organized by the Department of Science, took place on 11th March 2026.
As a research institute, NCBS is well known for their extensive work in molecular biology, root microbiology, developmental biology, neuroscience, ecology and interdisciplinary sciences. The tour aimed to provide the students with practical exposure and hands-on experience in various scientific phenomena and principles, aligning with their academics.
Our students visited the laboratories at NCBS, observed the ‘state of the art’ scientific equipment and experiments. Later, they attended a session where one of the PhD students spoke to them about their career trajectory and potential opportunities.
This educational tour to National Centre for Biological Sciences was a resounding success. It provided students with a memorable and enriching experience, fostering a spirit of inquiry, curiosity and lifelong learning. The tour served as a testament to our school’s commitment to holistic education and academic excellence.
