Trip To Hampi



Class: 11 & 12 Date: 26 & 27 September 2025


A group of students from Classes 11 and 12 of National Public School, Yeshwanthpur went on an educational trip to Hampi from 26 & 27 September 2025. The trip was organized by the school to give students an opportunity to explore the historical and cultural heritage of India. A total of 76 students and 5 teachers went on the trip.
The students explored numerous ancient ruins and temples of Hampi, including the Virupaksha Temple located on the banks of Tungabhadra river, a temple of lord Shiva showcasing a periscopic effect, Vittala Temple with its famous stone chariot and musical pillars, the Archaeological Museum at Kamalapur and the Royal Enclosure. The students enjoyed the panoramic view of the entire landscape at sunset from Matanga Hill. The students climbed over 500 steps to reach the temple at Anjanadri Hill, the birth place of deity Hanuman. They also visited the Virupaksha bazaar, purchased souvenirs and local goods.
The trip was a great success, offering both educational value and recreation. It helped the students learn about India’s rich history in an engaging and enjoyable manner. This trip served as a great source of experiential learning for the students and they returned home with unforgettable memories.
